CASSIDY McCARTAN is a London-based actor and Designated Linklater Teacher, native to the United States. Cassidy received her BFA in acting from the University of Rhode Island, and her MFA in Linklater Teaching Practice from Rose Bruford College in London, UK. She currently teaches Linklater voice, dialects, and Shakespeare text in multiple London drama schools. She strives to help people reconnect with their natural voice through physical release, freedom of breath, and a clear desire to communicate. Alongside teaching and coaching voice, Cassidy has experience in devising theatre shows, as well as developing work in Theater of the Oppressed. Cassidy’s first introduction to Linklater voice was at Shakespeare & Company's Month Long Summer Training Institute. As an actor she has performed with Toil and Trouble Shakespeare, Burbage Theatre, Gamm Theatre, Boston Playwright’s Theatre, Praxis Stage, and many others.
