Rebecca Covey is a Designated Linklater Teacher, Equity Actor and Vocal Coach in Miami, Florida.  She is an Associate Professor at Florida International University where she teaches Voice, Movement, Acting and Dialects.  Her research focuses on helping neurodiverse artists reach their full potential and on the junction of gender, culture and voice. Rebecca graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MFA in Acting from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.  As an actress, Rebecca has performed in California, throughout the Midwest, in Scotland, Australia and France.  She is a member of Actors Equity Association, ATHE and VASTA and bilingual in French and English.  She is particularly interested in Shakespeare, Dialects, and International Theatre.  She is available for private coaching as well as dialect coaching for film and theatre.
