Tania studied acting at the Centro Universitario de Teatro. She recieved an Acting  Scholarship from the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA), and she has worked, besides Theater, in Radio, Television and Films. Her career has been devoted mainly to acting, but she has worked in Theater as Assistant to Direction and Executive Producer, as part of her professional development. As an actress, she has participated in the following plays: La cueva de Montesinos directed by José Ramón Enríquez, Amor es más Laberinto directed by José Caballero, Juan el Momótaro directed by Irene Akiko,  Closer directed by Rocío Belmont, Sueño de una noche de verano directed by Carlos Corona, Matar chavitos directed by Antonio Crestani, Ubú en la fuente with the Laboratorio de la Máscara directed by Alicia Martínez Álvarez, among others. She was part of the company Carro de Comedias de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México UNAM for three years, working as an actress. She worked as Vocal Assistant in the play La amargura del merengue with the company Carro de Comedias de la Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit.

Tania has 10 years of experience as a teacher both of Vocal Technique and Verbal Expression. She has been part of the teaching staff at the following schools: Centro Universitario de Teatro, CasAzul-Argos and CEUVOZ (Centro de Estudios para el Uso de la Voz). She participated in the VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Assosiation) 2009 and 2010 conferences. She has taken seminars from Kristin Liklater, Patsy Rodemburg and Andrea Haring, among others. Currently, she works as a teacher at the following schools: Centro Universitario de Teatro, Ceuvoz (Centro de Estudios para el Uso de la Voz) and La Casa del Teatro.

In 2011, Tania directed her first play: Inferno, juego escénico a partir de La más fuerte of August Strindberg, and the premiere was at the Teatro La Capilla in Mexico City.

Tania was enrolled in the Certification Process of the Linklater Metodth, mentored by Antonio Ocampo, and Andrea Haring from the Linklater Center New York, and became Designated Linklater Teacher in 2012.
